Young, foolish photographer with unrealistic goals and aspirations.
From the day Chris was born, he has been taking photographs. At the age of zero he acquired a massive DSLR, along with heaps too many lenses. He was instantly employed by a sexy magazine to take photos of topless women and men. This was against all of his beliefs but there was heaps too much money in it, so he did it and wore money as diapers.
At the age of six months, he developed an addiction to smoking bath salts and went right off the rails. This all happened at the same time as the release of his second album. Released through Sony BMG records, 'The Essential Chris Foster' was seen as a pioneering album on the dubfolk scene.
In the cold winter of 1990, after slowly easing out of his KFC addiction, Chris decided that his art was no longer to be used as a tool for the evil corporations maaaan. He spent the next twelve months shooting continuously. This website serves as an archive for all of that ultra personal stuff he captured.
